I hope everyone had a great summer.  I know I enjoyed a lot of time outside walking, cycling and playing golf.  I wonder if my golf clubs are getting tired though.  They just do not seem to be as accurate as they were in the past.  I’ll give them a few more chances this fall.  Perhaps they simply prefer to play during the warm sunny days of fall versus the hot and humid times of summer.

As you know, details for our western trips in 2027 are coming out more slowly than we prefer.  The issue is the slow pace at which we are getting firm pricing for travel and lift passes.  Perhaps we will have the numbers by the time you read this.  We will have all of the updates available via the new Facebook ads for our trips that you can see before the end of September.  The ads will include a link to our website.  The URL code will lead you to information that will be updated regularly until all of the normal tools are ready for you to register for the trips.

Adam is at work to plan a weekend trip to Snow River.  This will be a drive on your own trip.  The goal with this is to provide an economical trip that is a fit for members from areas in Wisconsin and the UP.

Finding new members continues to be a high priority for our club.  I encourage everyone to talk to people you know and people that you meet about the fellowship one has while skiing with club members from Gelandesprung and our friends from Sly Fox.

Finally, I will share some new information at the banquet on October 1. If you didn’t sign up for the banquet in time, no worries. Please join us for the meeting portion or you can order off the menu and join us for dinner.
