Afton Alps and Welch Village Ski Trip Mar 6-8, 2026

Afton Alps/Welch VIllage - March 7th and 8th, 2026

GELANDESPRUNG Ski Club is going to Afton Alps and Welch VIllage for a two night stay. The bus leaves Friday afternoon Friday March 6th and will return Sunday March 8th after skiing. The trip includes lift tickets, travel in the comfort of a Lamer's Deluxe Motor Coach, two nights lodging in Hastings MN at the Nicholls Inn & Suites and breakfast each day. Sign-up Starts on October 2nd at the Fall Banquet. This is a frequent destination for the club and is a favorite for many. Afton Alps boasts 16 chair lifts servicing 37 trails. Welch village has 8 chair lifts servicing 50 runs and 140 acres of skiiable terrain. The trip also offers an excellent opportunity for cross country and snoweshoe enthusiasts, Afton State Park and St Croix Bluffs Regional Park offer groomed trails as well as challenging snow shoe opportunities. A Credit of $163 dollars will be given to those opting out of lift tickets. Keep in mind that if you purchase an EPIC pass for Telluride your pass is good for Afton Alps and you can deduct $80 from the total cost of the trip.
