Gelandesprung’s Door County Adventure Day

Sun, 06/30/2013 -
9:00am to 7:00pm

DC Adventure CenterSpend a great summer day in Door County. Join us for a paddle on Clark Lake. Try the zip lines at the Door County Adventure Center. Be daring – do both! Participate in both activities or decide to do just one. The choice is yours. You will have a great day either way.

The Door County Adventure Center is located just a few miles north of Sturgeon Bay and is well known for its adventures. The rope activities include; a 1500 foot zip line, the flying squirrel (check it out on their web site) and a flip over the cargo net.

Are you brave enough to give it a try? Who is going to get the best picture of another club member in flight (or in fright)?

This is a great opportunity to try sea kayaking under the guidance of well qualified instructors. All hold Level 3 ACA Sea Kayak instructor certification. They are available to assist you with your first venture into a kayak, help you brush up on skills or teach you new techniques. If you have ever been the least bit interested in sea kayaking, this is your chance to really check it out. Please don’t even think of kayaking without taking some basic lessons.

Kayaking will be done on Clark Lake, just a short distance from the DC Adventure Center. The lake is pristine and shallow with a great mostly sandy bottom in the launching area. Kayaks are available for your use and are included in the price. If you plan to bring your own sea kayak and participate in the instruction that is acceptable.

If you are planning on just “doing your own thing on the water,” not participating in the instructions, and you are bringing your own kayak, you must still register.  We will begin and end our day at the DC Adventure Center as well as have lunch on their grounds.

Invite your friends since summer club activities are open to guests. It should be a great day in Door County!Door County Team Leadership Center
